Dear Parents, Thank you for your interest in TLC, a Richland Two magnet for high-achieving, highly motivated students. During the application process, if you experience any difficulties registering your child(ren), please contact Pam Thompson or Dawne McLeod at the district office (803-787-1910). In addition, send me an email, explaining the problems you are experiencing (acromer@richland2.org), so I can forward the information as well. If your child is not currently a Richland Two student and is applying to TLC, you will need to have his/hers test record and grades faxed to my attention (FAX 803-699-2754) or hand delivered, or mailed to Dent. Sincerely, Amelie Cromer Lead Teacher TLC Portfolios: Portfolios are basically scrap/brag book which provide the interviewers with a more in-depth view of students. Portfolios also act as an icebreaker. Portfolios may be electronically generated but must be in hard copy form. All portfolios will be returned the day of the interview. Interviews: Parents will be informed of his/her child's interview and time via email. During the scheduled time, portfolios will be presented and impromptu writing samples will be completed. The prompts for the two interview days will not be the same. |
